We dropped by during the Merrick street fair. My son had the pho with rib eye, filet mignon, and meat balls. The broth was flavorful but the amount of meat was very sparse. One meatball in half, and maybe 3 slices of meat. The tofu pho also a little sparse, 4 slices of tofu in a very bland, clear vegan broth. It felt a bit like drinking water. Any sirachi added overpowered it. Could benefit from maybe some stir fried mushrooms or cabbage to give it body. Typically my son cannot finish the noodles in a standard pho order, and here he ate it all, which means noodles were also sparse. Next time I will go for their Bahn mi (bread baked fresh written on the board) and porkchop rice for my son. The owners were very friendly and inviting, and the restaurant is very clean. I will go back to just to find the dishes better suited for my taste.

I gave them three chances after the ownership change, and the food is just not good anymore. The Vietnamese coffee tastes like gasoline, theyโre constantly messing up orders, and now thereโs a $50 delivery minimumโeven though their website still says $20. Itโs such a shame because this place used to be a staple for us. We love supporting small businesses, but we wonโt be coming back here.

I have to say, the food here was not only DELICIOUS, but it was also AUTHENTIC! I recently visited China, which borders Vietnam, and the dish I ordered was SPOT ON. I ordered the โSliced Beef Pho,โ and I was blown away. It felt like I was back in Asia! Jimmy, the owner, was extremely pleasant as well as kind, courteous, and very outgoing, just like I am. I spent almost an hour there eating and conversing with him as there werenโt too many people at the time (it was around 3:00 PM, so in between lunch and dinner). I was enjoying myself so much I actually decided to take a later train haha!! I highly recommended visiting this restaurant. Itโs right next door to the Merrick train station which means CONVENIENT. It doesnโt get better than this. I canโt wait to go again. Thanks, Jimmy!!!

Decided to try this restaurant because of the vegan chicken and pork on the menu. They didn't have the vegan pork so we went with the chicken. I was so hungry I didn't take the pictures before we started eating๐, but the food was very tasty as you can see from the photos. We went with the vegan chicken rice box, the vegan chicken pho, and my granddaughter went with the shrimp roll, which she said was good. I also had Vietnamese coffee, which was sweetened to my liking. I don't remember the name of the drink my granddaughter had but she said it was good. We ate inside; it's not like a regular restaurant if that's what you're looking for, but it served our purpose. I will definitely visit again and try the vegan pork next time.
